On behalf of the International Society of Neuropathology, the Austrian Society of Neuropathology is honored to invite you to the XVIIth International Congress of Neuropathology to be held at the Salzburg Congress Center, Salzburg, Austria, September 11 - 15, 2010.

Programme

Neuropathology continues to be the core discipline in research on diseases of the nervous system, linking basic and clinical neurosciences in diagnosis and research. Particularly in times of crisis, it is of pivotal importance to present neuropathology to the world as an indispensable and dynamic medicoscientific discipline. Remarkable advances in the neurosciences ensure that ICN 2010 will be a meeting of greatest interest and cutting-edge scientific reports. In the tradition of previous successful ICNs, there will be an outstanding list of speakers on a wide variety of subjects, comprehensive symposia, workshops on controversial issues, and debate fora on the plethora of original inputs from poster presentations. Please make already now a definite entry into your scheduler for this event.

ICN 2010 will be held immediately in sequence to PRION 2010 (Sept. 8-11, 2010), the global forum for research on prion diseases, at the same venue. This allows for the unique opportunity to have a joint meeting between both events on Sept. 11, with top-class symposia and lectures on transmissible and non-transmissible dementias.

Situated in the heart of the historical city of Salzburg, more than 60 hotels of all categories as well as one of the world’s most complete baroque ensembles of churches, palaces and buildings can be found within walking distance of the congress venue.
